IL&FS Skills, has been mandated to run pilot batches for 500 beneficiaries in five states namely; Delhi, Punjab, West Bengal, Karnataka and Meghalaya, thereafter an additional mandate to train and place 1200 beneficiaries that belong to Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, Tripura and Karnataka regions
IL&FS Skills guarantees minimum 75 per cent employment for trained minority youths and out of them minimum 50 per cent in the organised sector. We assure quality technical training, soft skills, English and IT skills, assessment and certification, disbursement of stipend during training, job letters from the employers at the end of training, post placement stipend for two continuous months directly into trainees account and tracking of trainees for one year.
We have enrolled 1877 trainees till now of which we have trained 1618 trainees and placed 1102 trainees in engineering, manufacturing, construction and services sectors and assured competitive remuneration to our trainees. Of the total number of students enrolled 66% are male and 34% female. 71% of the trainees are Muslims, 17% are Christians and 7% are Sikhs. Most of the trainees trained are high school drop outs from 10th, 11th and 12th classes. The trainees belong to a number of states namely Delhi, West Bengal, Punjab, Meghalaya, Karnataka Bihar, Kerala, Uttar Pradesh and Tripura.
